Noo everything aside! Long Live Baba! That man is exactly who he thinks he is. This is is only meant for people who actually read my blog, just snippets of my mind right. Youths let me tell you something,we are on our own, if you consider yourself a youth that is. As a young person,you have to do what you have to do. “Jipange” I don’t know how much I can emphasize that, but you get! That is just a by the way, a reality check that needed to be said.
Anyways,I have always wanted to meet Baba. He crafted his Life in such a way that we have always talked or heard of him somehow. Power and Influence, it doesn’t come easy for sure. Being in a room with him made me feel like a rebel, like I actually have the power to not fit in, to speak my mind, to critic loudly and unapologetically. Well, maybe I’m overthinking but that is exactly the energy he brought.
Politics is a dirty game. Just like any other game that involves humans and money, power struggles will always be there. A quote from the one and only Dr Hon. Babu Owino that ‘if you are not part of the table, break that table’. Is that clear at the back?
I really wanted to get a picture with Baba,I’m not sure why, but you know exactly what that projects out there, nonetheless I got more respect and admiration for him, if you listen to my podcast you know he tops the list of my favorite politicians. To be completely honest I would like a sit down conversation with Mama Ida Odinga, she would definitely give me all the tea I want to know. Some day Inshallah, I’ll keep you updated.
This is my nook In case you are new here, I just have thoughts that I want to say, but prefer writing them down, not necessarily political issues but definitely, I enjoy that power game. Clearly my thoughts are all over and I’ll just post it like that! I had missed writing , and this just got me in that mood.
