Hello, i almost forgot how to start off a blog, there is no excuse for why i have been MIA, but i’m here now aint i? I want to appreciate the few or most of you who have been extra patient with me, even reading my previous blogs. ‘Naskia sijui aje’ is how i have been feeling for the past few months and i have a few tips on how you can lift your spirits, tried and tested by me.
Exercise– it is so obvious, take a walk, ride a bike even or yoga. It does not have to be going to the gym but that too also works. But going to the gym just to excersie is not reason enough atleast for me, that is where the good men who are taking care of themselves are, doesn’t harm to go and admire and socialize as you get your work out done, I mean. Who knows if thats where your soul mate is, haiya!

Have sex– should i really explain this? just get to learn a few styles ai and get sexually liberated if you are rolling your eyes right now and judging. All am just saying, it will get you in good moods. Lucky for you if you got a partner.

Shopping– well i dont mean online shopping, dress up and get out. I personally like to go for grocery shooping there is just something that makes me feel good choosing my tomatoes and vegetables at the market. Shopping for clothes is also another favourite sport of mine, i dont tire walking through all those racks of clothes one by one and end up not buying. Explore when it comes to shopping could be plants, home decor, drinks, gift shopping as long as it makes you feel good.
Journaling– I cannot emphasize this enough pal, self reflection is essential. Get your self a cute note book and pen and write whatever comes to mind, it does feel good. I mean if every other person or book encorages journaling why not do it and see the hype around it? pen it down.

Declutter– now i know people who struggle with this, if you need any assistance just email me. Decluttering is so therapeutic. I am sure you have clothes you’ve not worn in the last year, you definitely dont need them, give to charity and make a child smile and warm. Declutter your kitchen, please, im talking to you. Just a reminder declutter your phone too, i know alot of you have so many screenshots that are really not necessary, lift off the weight, ease our spirit.

Giving– After decluttering give all that extra clothes, utensils to charity, friends, family or church. It could be buying lunch to that street child, …”for God loves a cheerful giver”. Did you now giving reduces stress, makes you feel happy rising self esteem and is definitely contagious. Read here the health benefits of giving.
Dress well– now i know my readers, they don’t play when it comes to ‘kupiga luku’ , no doubt about it. You know how well it feels when you are nicely dressed. Look good feel good period.

Talk to someone– with social media it has made it easy to reach someone who is even miles away, make that video call and pour your heart out to someone. one of my favorite person to talk to has to be my mum ,we talk everything ,some premium 411 with hearty laughs. Make a call to that friend who comes in mind right now you never know you might make their day.

Be out in nature– It has a way of grounding you. It makes you feel alive and calm. One of my best places to be is by the lakeside. That place is magnificient especially the sunset. It is my duty as a kenyan Youth to remind everyone reading this to please maintain peace in this electioneering period, i want to be at the lakeside more times this year, as I’m always saying the moutain can be too cold for me. If you love the beach by all means book that flight once in a while, if its the mountain, you are welcome to my hood.

Pray or meditate– prayer has to me the most uplifting thing you can do. normally we feel low because our expectations have not been met yet or something not so good happpened. Take it to the Lord in prayer and all shall be well. Meditation has been emphasized enough out here, why not try it, the benefits are great i promise. Just 10 minutes a day and you will not regret.
JUST BREATH.
