The Timely Reshuffle .

It has been one year since Cabinet ministers assumed office and it was indeed time for a Reshuffle, which most people presume is just a rotation of the same vice just a different docket. A lot of Kenyans are not really pleased but as we all know our president is not about that, he will do what he seems fit for his government and Kenyans at large.

One of the big winners of this Reshuffle are His Excellency the Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi who has been added more responsibility and power if you may say so now heading the ministry of Foreign and Diaspora affairs. It is indeed a deserved one for him, his office is now ‘more’ legitimate with more jurisdiction and power, let’s see what he makes of it.

The Government spokesperson position has been given to Isaac Mwaura alias “Muthungu wa Ruiru” is well deserved too. He has been on the fore front defending the government and also in matters representation of the marginalized that is indeed a great win , we can only wish him the best, someone to look out for sure.

I wouldn’t really say there is a loss in the cabinet reshuffle because all dockets are critical and that is why they are part of the executive right? However many would argue that Alfred Mutua and Moses Kuria have gotten a demotion. They are still in the cabinet and the ministries they have been assigned in my opinion fit them perfectly, Moses Kuria should be able to keep everyone on toes and enhance performance. He is savage in his own way which makes things move.

We are all in agreement that it is the best decision to have Rebecca Miano head the ministry of Trade, she has been the managing director at Ken Gen being one of the first females to head a corporation in Kenya. Her story is one for the books, a very inspiring woman dedicated to her passion and interest, read more Here. We all endorse.
